Refund Policy
Our books are not cheap, and reading one is not a passive act. We want every copy sold to be useful. If one of ours has not been useful to you, we want you to get your money back — without a fight.
The 30-Day Guarantee
Within 30 days of purchase, you may request a full refund for any reason. You do not need to return or delete the file; there is nothing to return. We trust you to act in good faith.
What We Ask
We ask only this: that you honestly engaged with the book — that you read it, tried the practices, and still concluded it was not for you. If that is where you are, email us. You do not need to justify the decision.
Refunds are not intended as a mechanism to obtain a free copy. Repeated refund requests on multiple titles, or evidence of redistribution, may result in refusal of future orders.
How to Request
Email hello@stoicbastion.com with:
- The email address used at checkout.
- The order number (found on your receipt from Lemon Squeezy).
- A one-line note is enough; a longer one is appreciated but not required.
We respond within two business days and process approved refunds immediately. Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, issues the actual refund to your original payment method. Bank posting typically takes 3–10 business days depending on your card issuer.
After 30 Days
After 30 days we cannot ordinarily refund a purchase. If you believe there is an exceptional circumstance (duplicate charge, fraud, file corruption), contact us and we will work with you. Lemon Squeezy independently retains the right to issue refunds within 60 days of purchase to prevent chargebacks, regardless of our policy.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback initiates a third-party dispute process that is slower and more adversarial than simply emailing us — almost every case can be resolved faster and more fairly between us directly.
Bundle Refunds
If you purchased a multi-book bundle and want to refund only part of it, let us know which titles. We can issue a partial refund for the unwanted titles at the bundle's per-book proportional price.
